The exhibition Forms Forward opened in June 2025 at the Nieuwe Instituut, in Rotterdam. Commissionned by BNA, it is a retrospective of 20 years of the architectural award "BNA Best Building of the Year", and questions the future of architecture in regard to past and current crisis.
The visual identity plays with layers, lights, architectural fragments and movement, echoing with the theme and aesthetic of the exhibition. In the exhibition, the information is presented through three types of graphic interventions, all accessible to both dutch and english speaking audience. The introduction signage is 4 meter-long, involving an infographic representation of projects and architectural firms. Five chapters boards are populating the spatial structure. Additionally, twenty factsheets, specific to each building, bring detailed information on the project, the people involved and the architectural specifications.
